Felix Beyeler received the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich in 2004. From 2004 to 2008 he was a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems at ETH developing novel multi-axis micro force sensors and force sensing microgrippers, and in 2008 he received his Ph.D. degree. He is co-founder of FemtoTools GmbH, where he is the head of research and works in MEMS design and MEMS process development.

Zoltan Nagy studied Mechanical Engineering at ETH specializing in Robotics and Microsystems and graduated in 2006. He completed his studies with a stay at the Danish Technical University (DTU) in 2005, where he focused on motion control and BioMEMS. He joined IRIS as a PhD student working in the field of BioMicroRobotics. He is co-founder of FemtoTools GmbH.
