Dr. Ing. Fabrizio Meo, born on August 7th, 1959 in Naples, graduated in 1983 at University Federico II in Naples, in Electronic Engineering. He was software developer in Comau S.p.A. from 1984 to 1986 and carried out the same function in FIDIA S.p.A. since 1986. In 1989 he became the manager for software development for the FIDIA Numerical Controls Division. In July 2001 he assumed the position of Research Technical Director, in June 2003 of Research Manager.

Michele Surico received the Laurea degree in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Bari, Italy, in April 2004. From 2004 to 2006 he has been Ph.D student at the DEE, Polytechnic of Bari. Currently, he works as researcher for Fidia S.p.A., Italy. His research interests focus on evolutionary scheduling, computational intelligence, industrial robotics and numerical controls.
